Welcome to my colourful mexican world!

The online shop / Boutique Chunigula mexfashion was created during my 4 year stay in Mexico in 2018. The bright colours and the fine floral embroidery fascinated me so much during those years, that I really wanted to bring this craftsmanship both in home textiles and clothing to the people here in Europe. I felt that these bold Mexican colours and style give people a kind of vacation feeling, a relaxation at home. We need that more than ever in these days.

Chunigula mexfashion's mission is also to contribute to a better living conditions and environmental protection in Mexico through fair traded goods. These are hand sewn, woven and embroidered products. Behind each product with its individual design there is a story of the artisan woman and her culture as well as several days of work. Through the direct contact with these families, without intermediaries, we can pay a higher wage and thus provide better living conditions for these artisan families.

Our goal is to get to know more and more artisan families in Mexico, to establish a direct cooperation with them, to create a fair income for them through regular orders and thus to give their children the right to education, medical care and a safe life. We are happy to see that the number of our artisan families is constantly growing.
